  13.     I have an old Zoltrix 2400 modem that suddenly developed a burning
  14. smell. I popped the computer open and examined it and found that one of the
  15. resistors had literally cooked. I couldn't make out any of the color bands
  16. so I don't know the value. Its a model ZX1896S and the resistor in question
  17. is/was R12. If you have one sitting around and wouldn't mind writing me
  18. as to the value or colors of the bands I would appreciate it.
